Saime YALÇIN
Quality, Food Safety, Occupational Health and Safety Consultant
Saime Yalçın is one of the core team members of EFC. She has worked for 15 years at Ak Gıda Lactalis Turkey, which has 5 factories as Quality Manager in Turkey and was the team leader in the establishment and management of ISO 9001, HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 14005, ISO 14001, BRC, IFS, AIB GMP Management Systems and Halal.
During her tenure, she served in the field of Raw Material / Packaging Control, Supplier and Subcontractor Quality Processes, Calibration and Laboratory Coordination. Saime has conducted many Internal Audit and Vendor Inspections and has also worked as a team leader in many improvement projects; one of them is FVO European Union Milk Export Project.
Additionally, Saime is also ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Field-to-Fork Food Safety Specialist and Occupational Health and Safety Specialist.
Saime, is a graduate of Middle East Technical University, Department of Food Engineering and holds an MBA degree from Sakarya University. She is a mother of three. She is fluent in English.
Emel GÜLBAĞ
Quality, Food Safety Consultant
Emel Gülbağ is a team members of EFC and has worked for Ülker Ak Gıda for 9 years. She worked as Process Control Engineer, Microbiology Laboratory Specialist and Management Systems Engineer at Ülker Ak Gıda.
In this period, she ensured the coordination between follow-up of trial production lab and R & D quality assurance Lab. shelf-life controls and process controls of products and follow-up of approval process, monitoring of microbiological analyzes and applying new analysis methods, making microbiological confirmation of the products according to TGK, line checks and hygiene controls at the factory, validation of microbiological analyzes and ensuring adequacy with international tests, sterile testing of newly established lines at the factory, establishment of the documentation of ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 systems in AK Gıda Karaman Factory, she has worked to ensure the actualization of documentation ISO 9001, HACCP, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, GMP systems in the Pamukova factory, and has conducted factory internal audits, and has performed supplier audits.
She is a Farm to Fork Food Safety Expert and GMP, ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 auditor. Emel is a graduate of Uludag University, Department of Food Engineering. She is fluent in English. She is married and has two children.
Kemal SEÇKİN
Quality, Food Safety and Halal Consultant
One of the team members of EFC, Dr Kemal Seçkin is a graduate of Ege University, Department of Food Engineering. He received his master's degree from Celal Bayar University and PhD degree from Ege University Food Engineering Department.
Dr. Seçkin has many articles in national and international journals and symposiums in his academic life. His research interests are Food Technology, Food Microbiology, Functional Foods and Quality Management Systems.
Dr. Seçkin has served as an auditor, lead auditor and consultant for ISO 22000 Food Safety Management system, ISO9001 Quality Management System, Halal Food and supplier audits in more than 300 different companies. He has given trainings for ISO 9001 Food Safety Management System, ISO9001 Quality Management System, GMP, GHP, Internal Examination, Hygiene in Foodstuffs, Halal Food in many private companies and universities. Dr. Seçkin has a good command of English and is married with two children.
